I have been a Rosen Method bodywork practitioner since 1975. I was Marion Rosen’s first student in 1972 and was one of her close associates for 40 years.
I am currently a senior training teacher at ROSEN METHOD: the Berkeley Center and have been the Executive Director of the school since it was founded in 1983. My expertise as a teacher lies in transmitting the essentials of Rosen Method in a way that students incorporate them naturally into their own life and work. These students can then change the lives of people they touch.
I have been an adjunct faculty member of the California Institute for Integral Studies, where I taught Rosen Method in Public Programs and in the Women’s Spirituality Department for many years.
Rosen Method bodywork's benefits include holistic pain relief, reduced muscle tension and an increase in vitality. Many individuals experience a new sense of clarity about their direction in life and their goals. They are able to make better decisions and more easily align with their purpose. Rosen Method can help if:
- You have physical or emotional pain
- You suffer from depression or anxiety
- You want to increase your ability to accept touch
- You are in a crisis or under too much stress
- You want to be more connected to yourself and your body
- You are or have been alienated or touch-deprived in your family
